I make jewelry and wanted to get into metal stamping. I finally found some ABC stamps. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a metal soft enough to stamp into. I bought a sheet of flashing and some hollow punches. I have punched a few circles, which takes some time, and I seem to not have a problem with stamping into it, but I would like to find some that are either already cut or softer. Any suggestions on what type of metal to use and where to purchase softer metal? Thanks!

My daughter wants to panel one of the walls of her room with a sheet of metal that she can put magnets on and write across with dry-erase markers. What kind of metal should I use? It needs to be magnetic and the color of steel (silver). I've heard you need to use Galvanized steel, but I wasn't sure. Also, do you know where I could buy a sheet of the metal, not in bulk?

I am building a small quarterpipe for a shop class project. I am wondering what kind of metal would be the best to use for the frame work. I would use wood but our shop teacher will only let us use metal becuase I am not in the woodworking class. This is going to be outside too so any suggestions on the paint to waterproof it? I am asking what metal or material will retain its coldness the longest after being kept in a standard home freezer. After being removed from the freezer, the metal will be subjected to a moderate heat source for 5-20 minutes. Is it a metal or something else, possibly ceramic? I am using this for a project.

You know how korn has that good beat with heavy guitar riffs? Is there a genre of metal similer to that. I guess you could say it's thrash metal riffs with a slower tempo or a rap beat with heavy guitar riffs.

why do people say that metal is devil worship, i think it is just because they are being stupid and not doing research and just hating blindly, whats I hate even more is people who get it mixed up with goth, emo, punk and other such genres, what do you think about this, is metal devil worship, and is it the same as emo goth and punk

This isn't really a question, but i wanted to say that metal is the best music ever and if you don't listen to it you suck because you probably haven't given it a chance so go to youtube and listen to some metallica because they are the best band ever

Why is it that so many people hate metal when they have never even heard any. Everyone i know who's ever hated metal has ended up loving it after they listen to some good metal bands a couple of times. are people just too afraid to listen to heavy music? More people should just give it a chance.
